Mobile Medical Clinics
The Pennsylvania United Medical Association (PUMA) working in Nepal, is serving the most rural villages in the country of Nepal. Several times throughout the year, PUMA sends medical personnel from the United States to minister to and treat the sick living in the upper districts in Nepal. Along with Nepali medical personnel, PUMA provides excellent care and diagnosis to treat the many many hundreds who arrive at every medical outreach.
These clinics provide lab work, prenatal care, de-worming and many many other vital health services to many many thousands of people.. Areas of medical care include gastroenterology, gynecology, obstetrics and ultrasound, and physical therapy. Other services we provide in these rural areas include the distribution of mosquito netting and health education through the medical outreaches.
PUMA has been offering health care services in the districts of Lamjung, Tanahu, Manang and Gorkha since 2001.

Update from Mugu
The following video is our last from the field. It has been an absolute extraordinary trip into north west Nepal, only 10 or 12 miles from China. In 5 days of medical outreach, the team treated over 2000 patients, referred many to hospitals where specialty care could be given, hundreds of Ultra Sounds, many were prayed for/with and much much more. A huge thank you from all the team. We were certainly covered with God’s mercy and grace, especially during the tiomes we had to fly in country and trek from village to village.
